CAA2006 - Who Should Attend?

[ First & Second Call For Papers ]

Who Should Attend CAA2006?

It's Not Just for Archaeologists!
CAA attracts not just archaeologists, but also scholars in computer science, mathematics and statistics, classical studies, architecture, museum sciences, geography, graphic arts and design, geography, and physical anthropology. This appeal bespeaks a broadening umbrella that covers all concerns with computer and quantitative applications for human heritage.

Connecting the Past With the Future

We Seek To Attract and Engage!
Many of the world's leading practitioners of advanced computer and quantitative applications in archaeology regularly attend the CAA conferences. Through the CAA2006 conference, we seek to attract and engage new researchers in the application of computer technology for research and education in human heritage; to attract people who as yet have had little exposure to the power and utility of current and developing technology.
